When a two-year old Australian boy Oliver Sherwood, who was suffering from high blood pressure on account of pulmonary hypertension, was given Viagra, the drug showed its effect by quickly ensuring smooth blood flow through his veins and capillaries. As soon as the blood started to flow unhindered throughout his body, the boy was adequately relieved from pulmonary hypertension and thus his life was saved.
The boy Oliver Sherwood is known to have taken Viagra dosages on a daily basis and further the boy's mother Sarah revealed to ‘The Daily Telegraph' that even though the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra is expensive, it is one of the cheapest medications to treat pulmonary hypertension. She further expressed hope that Viagra would continuously work effectively on the boy as he grows older.
