According to sources, the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra is soon to be experimented on patients with constant pelvic pain to determine whether the medication can provide relief to people who have fallen prey to the disorder or suffering from bladder problems, lower back and groin pain and other associated consequences.
A consultant urologist at Bristol Royal Infirmary and Southmead Hospital , Raj Persad pronounces that the thought of Viagra utilization by chronic pain patients is one among a whole range of Viagra uses currently under speculation.
In an experiment conducted earlier, when erectile dysfunction patients were administered with Viagra, they were considerably relieved from other pelvic pain symptoms along with quickly getting rid of their impotency.
As Viagra drives away erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis, it is hoped that the drug would take care of constricted blood vessels which are assumed as the causes of pelvic pain.
