The two herbal sex pills ' Excite' for Women and 'Ultimates' for Men were withdrawn from the market after surveillance by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). It was discovered that the pills contained the Viagra ingredient slidenafil as the main component. Though advertisements for the products claimed that the pills contained a mixture of Chinese and South American herbs, the survey by TGA proved it to be utterly false and the truth that the products contained the Viagra ingredient slidenafil was revealed.
Regarding the withdrawal of the herbal sexual medicines from the market, TGA made it apparent that the products were pulled off from the market as an incorrect administration of these drugs, could lead the customers to suffer from serious health problems.
According to a TGA spokeswoman, while no hazardous outcome has been evident so far the usage of these herbal sex pills is capable of posing health risks for people with heart problems, those administering medicines for the heart and also for people at the risk of stroke.
With the TGA initiative leading to the removal of the herbal sex pills from pharmacies, health food stores and adult outlets, Pfizer has showered large-scale praises on Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
As soon as the herbal sex enhancers containing slidenafil were withdrawn from the market, the manufacturer of the products Herbal Health International revealed that the products had been contaminated but they were not guilty of contamination.
