According to a latest report, a specific injection to treat male erectile dysfunction is likely to be launched in the pharmaceutical market in the coming years and it has also been predicted that the treatment might even surpass the effects of Viagra in treating erectile dysfunction.
The injection which was developed at the New York 's Albert Einstein College of Medicine is inserted at the base of the penis and is meant to be taken before indulging in sexual activity. The injection lasts up to six months for which it is deemed to be more advantageous than Viagra.
Though the injection might be a bit painful for being inserted into the penis, Professor Arnold Melman, a leading researcher has pronounced that with initial research proving the injection therapy to be safe and effective, this particular erectile dysfunction treatment might be available in the market in the next five years.
Dr Richard Petty of London 's WellMan Clinic also stresses that the news of injection therapy is very welcoming for all male erectile dysfunction afflicted people across the world.
