Similar to the male erectile dysfunction drug Viagra , a new drug that promises to cure female sexual dysfunction by boosting female sexual desire and arousal is in the experimental stage and researches around the world are hoping that the medicine would be available in the market soon.

The new drug achieves its objective by targeting the brain and comes in the form of nasal spray bremelanotide and the pill flebanserin. According to Jones, an urologist at the University Health and Science Center in San Antonio., in most of the women sexual dysfunction emanates from the lack of sexual desire and the drug acts as a libido enhancer in women.

Dr. Robin Kroll who works with the "Seattle Women's Clinical Research Center " pronounces that the nasal spray works like Viagra and women can take it when they want to have sex.
