With a view to rescue the South American countries from the shackles of poverty, the South American leaders recently spelt out their aim to strengthen political and economic bonding in the countries. In a meeting hosted by the Bolivian President Evo Morales, the South American leaders got together and focused on creating a South American union similar to the European Community.
In the summit where President and envoys from 12 nations assembled and created a temporary, one year high-level commission, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez remarked that the South American leaders make the decisions effectively but they don't have the energies to finish them and as such the entire South American community is presently in need of political Viagra.
Bolivian President Evo Morales kick started the discussion by condemning the capitalist exploitation by the foreigners for the poor condition of the South Americans and Michelle Bachelet, the Socialist President of Chile added that globalization is double faced and one of its faces is destructive while the other offered opportunities to the south American societies. She further instigated the South American leaders to capitalize on the scopes offered by the world economy while minimizing the impact of free trade on the poor people.
