When John Pettigrew, aged 58 was prescribed Viagra, the erectile dysfunction drug by his doctor, he started to take more than the recommended amount of Viagra tablets and as a consequence acquired a blue tinge to his vision.
According to Pfizer, the manufacturer of the anti-impotency drug Viagra, a blue tinge to a man's vision, acquired due to Viagra administration, is a known Viagra side-effect and so men should abstain from Viagra overdosing at all costs.
However, the vision related difficulty acquired by John Pettigrew for which he started to observe the world in blue shades only, remained with him for a period of 15 days and more and now several vision related tests are being implemented to identify if the change in him is a permanent one.
