Fake versions of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra manufactured in a Chinese factory were found to contain three times more than the required amount of slidenafil citrate normally present in a tablet. According to media reports, Gabriel Zhang, a 32-year-old Chinese businessman supplies fake Viagra tablets manufactured at his factory situated in Henan province of eastern central China .
Details relating to counterfeit Viagra tablets containing excessive slidenafil citrate were revealed after Pfizer Incl., the maker of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra tested the fake Viagra tablets and identified talcum powder as well as excessive slidenafil citrate in them.
